Three people, including a 15-year-old boy, have been arrested after a man suffered multiple slash injuries during an attack in Nottinghamshire. The 32-year-old victim was walking along Bembridge Drive towards Sandy Banks Nature Reserve at around 7.10pm on Friday (7 August) when he was attacked. Police officers on patrol subsequently spotted the injured man and stopped to help him before paramedics arrived. He was taken to hospital with slash injuries to his chest, back and legs. Nottinghamshire Police said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

Three arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent

Following what police described as extensive enquiries, officers attended a property on Sunday and arrested three people. A 54-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Detective Inspector Stu Barson said the victim continues to receive support from specially trained officers and has been informed about the arrests. Police said the arrests should provide some reassurance to the local community but stressed that the investigation remains ongoing.
