Two men have been rushed to a major trauma centre following reports of multiple people falling from height in Erith. Emergency services were called to Walnut Tree Road at 10.42am on Friday, August 7, following reports of a serious incident. London Ambulance Service sent multiple resources to the scene, while London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched. The air ambulance landed near Riverside Gardens as emergency crews responded to the incident.
Two men taken to major trauma centre
Paramedics treated two men at the scene before both were taken by road to a London Major Trauma Centre. Their conditions have not yet been confirmed. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10:42am today (7 August) to a report of multiple people falling from height. “We sent ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. “We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. “We treated two men at the scene and took both to a London Major Trauma Centre.”
Emergency services remain focus of enquiries
Further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been confirmed. The Metropolitan Police has been approached for further information.
