Police have issued an urgent appeal to find two young girls who have gone missing in Rugby, with officers working “around the clock” to locate them. Warwickshire Police are searching for Angelica and Verity, aged 11 and 12, who were reported missing on Saturday (8 August). The force issued an initial public appeal late on Saturday night before releasing a further update following a reported sighting of the girls at around 4am on Sunday. They were last seen in the Newbold area of Rugby during the early hours.
Police urge public to call 999
In its latest appeal, Warwickshire Police said: “Our officers continue to work around the clock to find Angelica and Verity, who were last seen in the Newbold area of Rugby in the early hours of this morning. “The girls, who are 11 and 12 years old, and pictured below, were reported missing from Rugby yesterday (Saturday). “If you think you may have seen them or know where they might be, please call 999 immediately, quoting incident number 123 of 8 August. “Please continue to share our posts and thank you to those who have shared them already.” Anyone who spots either girl, knows their current whereabouts or has information which could help officers find them is urged to call 999 immediately, quoting incident 123 of 8 August.
