Swindon Predator Busted for Sharing Horrific Child Abuse Images

A vile paedophile from Swindon is back behind bars after sending sickening child abuse images to an undercover cop. Paul Quinn, already jailed for sex offences in Australia, used a secret Swiss dark web service to share vile videos and pictures with fellow predators.

Undercover Cop Snags Sick Messages

Quinn believed he was chatting with like-minded perverts—but it was an undercover officer who had infiltrated the shadowy network. He sent 28 videos and 201 images of the worst kind of child abuse via an encrypted email service. Shocking still, he even dared to ask if the officer could bring his young daughters to meet him.

Police swooped on Quinn’s Highworth home last August. They found children’s underwear in his bedroom and seized his computer, which contained damning evidence of his twisted crimes.

Judge Slams ‘Deep-Rooted Predilection for Abuse’

At Swindon Crown Court, Judge Tim Mousley QC didn’t hold back: “You quite obviously have a predilection for sexual activity with very young children. That predilection is deep seated.”

The court heard Quinn was convicted in Perth, Australia, in 2006 for abusing one girl and two boys. He served five years and was released in 2010. Once back in the UK, he went straight back to his sick habits online. Quinn used his tech skills, honed during time at Sony, to cover his tracks.

Four Years Jail and Extended Licence

Prosecutor Hannah Squire revealed Quinn first sent his filthy content through a Swiss dark web service before switching to a less secure network to organise a sick meet-up. Police uncovered his real identity, raided his home, and caught him red-handed.

Defence lawyer Mike Pulsford said Quinn had spent years isolated at home with just a computer and wanted help. But it wasn’t enough to save him from 4 years and 4 months behind bars, plus a four-year extended licence on release.

Quinn told police, “I don’t know how I let it get to this stage again,” adding he feared the impact on his parents.

The shocking case has shaken the local community and is a stark warning of the lurking dangers on the dark web.
