  Two men have been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Leyton during the early hours of Thursday, 23 April. Abdullahi Abdi, 24, and Hanet Ahmed, 25, are set to appear at Thames Magistrates Court on Monday, 27 April after police and paramedics attended Saint George’s Road shortly after midnight, where a 24-year-old man was stabbed and later died at the scene.

Victim Identified

The man who died has been named as Suhayb Abdulkadir, aged 24. Emergency services were called at around 12:40am after reports of a disturbance involving several people. Despite lifesaving attempts by London Ambulance Service paramedics, Suhayb was pronounced dead at the location. His family continues to receive support from specially trained officers.

Arrests And Charges

Four men were arrested on suspicion of murder following the incident. One suspect has been bailed, another released under investigation, while Abdullahi Abdi and Hanet Ahmed have been formally charged and will appear in court next week.
