Police Scotland seeks information after Aberdeen car crash leaves man seriously injured

Serious Crash in Aberdeen: Man Hospitalised After Collision

Police Scotland are hunting for witnesses after a nasty smash on Craigbank Drive, Aberdeen, left a 49-year-old man seriously injured. The crash involved a black Vauxhall Meriva and happened on Saturday, 21 October at around 11.40am.

Emergency Response and Road Closure

Emergency crews raced to the scene and rushed the injured man to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Authorities shut the road to dig into the details but reopened it by 4.45pm the same day. The investigation is ongoing as cops work to piece together exactly what went wrong.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage

Sergeant Eoin Maxwell from Road Policing said: “A man has been seriously injured as a result of this incident, and it is vital we establish exactly what has happened.”

He urged anyone who was on Craigbank Drive that morning or has dash-cam footage to come forward and help with the inquiry.

Police Scotland asks anyone with information to call 101 and quote incident number 1257 from 21 October 2023.
