Firefighters Rescue Staff from Stuck Lift
Fire crews rushed to Trent House retirement home in Cowes this afternoon after reports of a person trapped in a lift.
Swift Action at Newport Road Care Home
Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service used specialist lift keys and tools to free the care staff caught inside the private lift.
The rescue was completed by 3.30pm with everyone safe and sound.
