Merseyside Police are appealing for information following a shooting incident in Prescot, Knowsley, on Sunday afternoon, 24 May. Two men, both in their 20s, were found with gunshot wounds and taken to hospital, where they remain in a stable condition.
The victims were discovered at 2.50pm on Pottery Lane near Stadt Moers Park in Whiston. Detectives investigating the attack continue to carry out house-to-house enquiries, review CCTV footage, and conduct forensic work in both Prescot and Whiston.
A mobile police station has been set up in the area to support the local community and assist in gathering evidence as the investigation progresses.
Police believe the shooting took place in Stadt Moers Park, with the victims later found injured on Pottery Lane. Officers are keeping an open mind regarding the circumstances surrounding the attack as inquiries continue.
