After 22 years and nine children, Our Yorkshire Farm stars Amanda Owen, 47, and husband Clive, 67, have announced their split. The couple, married since 2000 and together since 1995, revealed their difficult decision to divorce in a heartfelt Instagram statement.
‘Best Decision for Our Family’
Amanda shared: “Clive and I regret to inform you that we have made the difficult decision to divorce. It hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the best decision for our family’s future.”
The couple stressed they will continue to work side-by-side on the farm and co-parent their nine children, putting the family’s happiness and well-being first.

Drama Rumoured for Months
The split confirms months of speculation surrounding marital troubles. Amanda appeared on ITV’s Lorraine as early as December last year, addressing rumours she was living apart from Clive at a rented property away from Ravenseat Farm.
She told Lorraine: “You have your rough patches. However, you must take the rough with the smooth… We’re pretty tough in the hills. That’s all there is to it. You must remember that if you are proud of what you are doing, you must shoulder some of the responsibility.”
Amanda Defends Clive’s Social Media Absence
Fans often wondered why Clive stayed out of Amanda’s popular social posts. In an interview with OK! Magazine, Amanda cleared the air.
“Clive will serve tea and change nappies, while I will shear sheep and shovel s**t,” she said. “Being a farmer is difficult work, and I will go to any length to provide for my family. To make a living, you have to have your fingers in a lot of pies.”
