Parcel Van Stolen and Parcels Snatched in Broadlands Road Heist!
Police are hunting witnesses after a daring daytime theft in Broadlands Road yesterday morning. Between 10.30am and 11am on Monday, January 16, a parcel delivery driver briefly left his van unattended. When he returned, the vehicle was gone.
Van Found – Parcels Still Missing
The stolen white, unmarked Transit van was quickly tracked down to Bassett Crescent East and recovered by officers. However, thieves made off with several parcels worth over £1,600.
Police Seek Key Witnesses
Investigator Daniel Brown from the Western Investigation Team urged the public to come forward.
“We want to hear from anyone who saw someone entering, driving, or abandoning a white Transit van in Broadlands Road or Bassett Crescent East between 10.30am and 11am. Did you spot anyone acting suspiciously?”
