Teen Tragedy in Aldershot: Two Girls Killed in Horror Crash

Police have confirmed the heartbreaking deaths of two teenage girls in Aldershot after a fatal road collision last night. The victims, 17-year-old Lucy Pygott from Hartley Wintney and 16-year-old Stacey Burrows from Farnborough, were involved in a crash with a black Ford Focus on Queens Avenue just after 7:10pm.

Families Mourn in Private

Both families have asked the media to respect their privacy during this devastating time. Lucy’s family paid a touching tribute, saying: “Lucy was an absolute joy to us and we feel lucky that she has been part of our family for 17 years.” Stacey Burrows’ family have chosen not to issue a public statement at present.

Man Arrested and Released

A 24-year-old man was arrested following the crash but has since been released on conditional bail. He is due to answer bail on January 14, 2017.
