Daniel Wall, 43, Dies in Horrific Collision
A devastating smash on the A90 near Crimond has claimed the life of Daniel Wall, 43, from St Fergus, Aberdeenshire. The tragedy struck at 9:55am on Saturday, 18 November, when Daniel’s blue Nissan Qashqai collided with a white lorry.
Family Pay Heartfelt Tribute
Daniel’s family, through Police Scotland, described him as a much-loved and special man. Known for his passion for music and comedy, Daniel was a familiar face at local band gigs, building friendships with musicians and fans alike. Despite battling illness, he showed incredible spirit – fundraising for the MS Society and even completing two parachute jumps.
“Daniel was kind, courageous, and had a brilliant sense of humour. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered,” said his family.
Crash Details and Ongoing Investigation
- After the crash, Daniel was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary but sadly died from his injuries.
- The passenger, a 46-year-old woman, escaped without serious harm and has since been discharged.
- The 41-year-old lorry driver has been arrested and is under investigation.
- The A90 was shut for around 12 hours, reopening near midnight to clear the scene.
