Tragic A90 Crash Claims Life of Aberdeenshire Man
Daniel Wall, 43, from St Fergus, Aberdeenshire, has been named as the man who died in a serious collision on the A90 near Crimond on Saturday, 18 November.

Daniel’s loved ones described him as a “much-loved and special” man. Through Police Scotland, they shared their grief and celebrated his passion for music and comedy. Daniel was a familiar face at local gigs, befriending band members and fans alike. Despite living with an illness, he showed incredible bravery, raising funds for the MS Society and completing two parachute jumps. The family said he will be “deeply missed but fondly remembered” for his kindness, courage, and sharp sense of humour.
Crash Details: Car Hits Lorry, Daniel Succumbs to Injuries
The fatal crash happened around 9:55am when Daniel’s blue Nissan Qashqai collided with a white lorry. Paramedics rushed him to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he later died.
The car’s passenger, a 46-year-old woman, escaped serious injury and has been discharged from hospital.
Lorry Driver Arrested as Police Probe Crash
A 41-year-old lorry driver has been arrested and is under investigation in connection with the collision.
To aid inquiries and clear the scene, the A90 was shut for about 12 hours, reopening around midnight.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to call 101, quoting incident number 0967 of 18 November.
