Three Men Stabbed in Brutal Attack at Egham Station
Chaos erupted at Egham railway station in Surrey on Friday night after a knife attack left three men injured. British Transport Police launched a major investigation following the shocking stabbing incident.
Knife Mayhem Strikes at 9pm
Police and paramedics rushed to the scene at around 9pm on 6 February after reports of a violent brawl involving knives. Four victims were found injured:
- Two 20-year-olds suffered stab wounds.
- A 22-year-old had a slash injury across his face.
- An 18-year-old was assaulted but not stabbed.
All were taken to hospital. Thankfully, none suffered life-threatening or permanent injuries.
One Man Busted, Others Still on the Run
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is now in custody. Police believe at least two other attackers fled the scene, still at large.
BTP Detective Superintendent David Udomhiaye said: “This is an incredibly serious but isolated incident between two groups who didn’t know each other. Thankfully, no one has been fatally injured.”
“We’re working with partners and Network Rail to minimise disruption. A cordon is still in place. We urge witnesses or anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward.”
