Graham Norton, the cheeky Irish chat show legend, is swapping the mic for the camera. After 13 years on Virgin Radio, the beloved BBC host is turning his focus to filmmaking with his company, So Television.
So Television’s New Movie Venture Underway
So Television is cooking up its latest project, a flick titled 123, set to shoot in Ireland this July and August. The crew admits the move into movies hasn’t been smooth sailing. An insider spilled, “Making movies is way trickier than we expected, but the excitement’s through the roof now the ball’s rolling.”
“We’re in talks with high-profile actors who could really bring the script to life,” they added, hinting at some star power on the horizon.
Norton Savours Weekend Freedom, But Won’t Say Goodbye
Reflecting on his radio days, Norton said, “I’ve had a brilliant time with Maria, Show Chef Martha, and all the guests on the Graham Norton Radio Show with Waitrose, but I’m looking forward to weekends off for the first time in 13 years!”
He reassured fans, “It’s not a goodbye – I’ll still pop up on Virgin Radio from time to time, and I look forward to returning when I do.” Meanwhile, the Virgin Radio weekend slot has passed to Strictly star Angela Scanlon.
