Detectives on the Hunt for Key Witness in Battersea Murder
Police investigating the stabbing death of 25-year-old Tai Folkes have released a photo of a woman they believe could be crucial to cracking the case.
Brutal Stabbing in Battersea
Officers rushed to Thessaly Road, Battersea, just after 6pm on Monday, 2 March, after reports of a violent altercation involving a group of men. Tai Folkes was found stabbed and was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital, where he later died.
Who Is She? Witness Could Hold the Key
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, leading the probe, said:
“We believe this woman was with Tai in his vehicle moments before the attack. She may have vital information about why he went to that location. We’ve been trying to identify her but think she might not be local. She is not a suspect, just a potential witness.”
Family Mourns Young Life Lost Too Soon
Tai’s family spoke out with a heartfelt tribute:
“Tai was a much-loved son, brother and friend. He was full of warmth, humour and loyalty. We are devastated by his loss. Tai had his whole future ahead of him, with dreams and plans. The pain of losing him so suddenly is something we will carry forever.”
