Thieves struck Paydens in Liberty Square on Tuesday, 11 June 2024. The duo targeted a display cabinet, snatching valuable items just after 4pm.

The pair brazenly walked behind a closed counter, stuffing large bags with stolen goods before making a swift getaway. Eyewitnesses say they fled towards the nearby Asda car park.
Staff Threatened and Police Launch Forensic Hunt
During the heist, staff and customers were threatened, with suspicions the suspects might have been armed. Police are investigating and have already carried out forensic analysis at the scene.
