Ex-Con Shane Doyle Slams Party into Chaos with Brutal Attack

Shane Doyle, 44, is behind bars for nearly six years after turning his own house party into a nightmare. The party was meant to celebrate his release from prison but instead ended in savage violence at a Dartford home.

Party Turns Violent on Lunedale Road

On 8 February 2025, things spiralled out of control at the gathering. Doyle launched vicious assaults on three guests—two women and a man. He punched the male guest in the chest, forcing him to bolt, then unleashed a brutal attack on the women.

  • One woman was grabbed by the throat, shoved down the stairs, then kicked and punched repeatedly.
  • She suffered facial cuts, a fractured hand, and a dislocated knee.
  • The second woman was struck multiple times to the head and chest and had her phone stolen when trying to call for help.
  • She also sustained internal bruising while shielding the other victim.

Police Targeted and Knife Discovered

Kent Police responded just after 8.30pm to find chaos in full swing. Doyle spat at and kicked officers during his arrest and battered two more officers on the way to custody. A knife was found stashed in his pocket during a search.

Justice Rolls In: Nearly Six Years for Doyle

Doyle, currently homeless, denied all charges but was convicted after trial. On 3 October 2025, Maidstone Crown Court locked him up for five years and 11 months. A restraining order was also imposed to protect the terrorised victims.

“This was a brutal and sustained attack that left multiple victims physically and emotionally traumatised,” said Detective Constable Julia Dell. “Doyle showed a complete disregard for the safety of others, including our officers who responded to protect those in danger. His conviction and sentence reflect the seriousness of his actions, and we hope it brings some measure of justice and reassurance to the victims.”
