Bloodbath Shocks Quiet Richmond Road Flats – Three Arrested
Three people were hauled in after a brutal attack rocked Keelan Court, a usually peaceful block on Richmond Road, just after midnight. A 29-year-old Southsea woman, a 32-year-old woman from Fareham, and a 42-year-old man with no fixed address face charges of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Victim Left Brutally Beaten in Blood-Soaked Block
A police spokeswoman confirmed a 28-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by the trio. Residents woke to horrifying scenes this morning – blood smeared across walls, floors, doors, and even the lift, with eerie bloody footprints trailing through communal areas.
“It’s truly beautiful here and I am extremely saddened by what has happened,” a shaken resident told Spotted Portsmouth.
Keelan Court has been sealed off again – the second time in four years – after the gruesome assault. Locals are still stuck inside their apartments, with forensic teams yet to arrive 12 hours later, forcing residents to live in the “stinking mess.”
Dark History Haunts the Scene
The block is no stranger to horror. In 2012, 30-year-old homeless man David Guy was murdered and dismembered in a flat here by David Hilder, who is now serving 12 years. The killer infamously rode through Southsea with his victim’s decapitated head in his butcher’s bike basket. Parts of Guy’s body were found scattered along Southsea seafront.
Last night, neighbours reported loud banging, shouting, and slamming doors just after 12.30am, signalling the latest nightmare unfolding at the troubled flats.
Residents Left Reeling by Renewed Violence
“Our lovely home destroyed again. It’s all in the lift too. We’re horrified,” one tenant said.
Police remain at the scene as investigations continue, with locals shocked that such violence could strike their once-tranquil neighbourhood again.
