OAP Dies After Brutal Cycle Rage Attack in Gosport
A 69-year-old man has tragically died following a vicious cycle rage incident in Gosport. The victim, Roy Galvin from Alverstoke, suffered a serious head injury after a dispute on Bury Road’s one-way system on Sunday evening.
Attack on Busy Road
The argument erupted around 5:50pm on September 25. During the altercation, Mr Galvin fell and hit his head on the road. Emergency services rushed him to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham where he was treated for critical injuries.
Victim Dies in Hospital
Sadly, Roy Galvin passed away at 8:15am this morning, despite medical efforts to save him.
Man Charged with Manslaughter
- 28-year-old Duncan Snellgrove from Howe Road, Rowner was initially charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
- At Portsmouth Magistrates Court this morning, he faced a manslaughter charge linked to Mr Galvin’s death.
