Witnesses spotted a second moped tailing the crash bike, each carrying two riders. One suspect bolted on foot, while the others sped off along the seafront path.
Weapons Brandished in Seafront Scuffle

Police later discovered another abandoned moped nearby.
Suspects on the Run – Police Urge Public to Help
All suspects are described as white males, dressed in dark clothes, balaclavas, and helmets.
“This was a shocking incident in a busy public area in broad daylight. We’ve increased police presence along the seafront, and an investigation is underway to identify those responsible,” said Detective Inspector Laura Hillier-Diamond.
“We are appealing to the public for any information, especially if anyone saw the suspects without helmets or balaclavas, or caught any part of the incident on camera. Any detail, no matter how small, could prove crucial.”
