Met Police Officer Busted Over Sick Child Abuse Messages
PC Duncan Bouette Arrested in Shocking Scandal
Metropolitan Police officer PC Duncan Bouette, from the North East Command unit, has been arrested and charged with serious offences involving vile messages about child sexual abuse. The officer was arrested by the Met’s Central Specialist Crime Unit on Tuesday, 7 October.
Just 24 hours later, on Wednesday, 8 October, Bouette was slapped with two charges under the Obscene Publications Act.
Disturbing Messages Unearthed
- On Monday, 18 November 2024, Bouette allegedly sent a string of messages referencing child sexual abuse.
- Between 2 and 3 October 2025, he reportedly shared messages detailing extreme, violent sexual acts via a secure messaging app.
Met Cracks Down Fast
Bouette was immediately suspended from duty after his arrest and was remanded to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 9 October.
The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has launched an internal probe as the investigation presses on.
