Teens Charged with Murder After Leysdown Beach Tragedy
Three teenagers have been charged with the murder of a man in his 40s following a deadly clash on Leysdown beach.
Three Teens in Court Over Fatal Beach Brawl
A 16-year-old girl and two boys aged 14 and 15 are set to face Medway Magistrates’ Court this morning. The trio were arrested soon after the incident on Sunday evening.
Man Dies After Evening Altercation on Warden Bay Road
Kent Police were called to Warden Bay Road, Leysdown, at around 7pm on August 10 after reports of a violent row involving a small group. Despite emergency services rushing to the scene, the man was pronounced dead.
Police Lock Down Beach for Forensics
Officers quickly established a large cordon around the beach and nearby areas while forensic teams combed the scene for clues. The three suspects were detained nearby and remain in custody.
No information on the victim has been released, but police say his next of kin have been notified.
