Three Wiltshire drug dealers locked up for over a decade after massive Class A haul.

Local Tip-Off Leads to Major Drug Bust

Three crooks have been slammed with hefty jail sentences after police cracked down on a drug ring in Wiltshire. The Serious Crime Organised Unit (SOCU) swooped following a community tip-off. They arrested 29-year-old Ayo Awoyera from Pinehurst, 46-year-old Kenneth Brown from Raleigh Avenue, and 29-year-old Dejuan Stewart-Richards from Hackney.

The trio were caught dealing heroin and crack cocaine — the kind of Class A poison wrecking local lives. Together, they’ll serve a combined 13 years behind bars.

Drug Stash and High-Speed Transfers Exposed

The operation kicked off on March 5 with a raid at Middleton Close where Awoyera was arrested. Police linked him to a second stash at Gresham Close, uncovering heroin and crack locked in a safe — the key found on Awoyera himself.

Brown was caught red-handed at the Gresham Close property with Class A drugs. A mobile phone seized from him exposed the sprawling drug network.

Meanwhile, officers spotted Awoyera moving drugs from his Kia Rio to a BMW driven by Stewart-Richards, who’d travelled down from London that morning. When arrested, Stewart-Richards was found with £4,000 in cash — believed to be payout from Awoyera.

London to Swindon: The Drug Pipeline Uncovered

Investigations revealed a tight drug supply chain running from London to Swindon, with the trio working in close partnership to flood Wiltshire with heroin and crack cocaine.

Sentences Land Hard on Swindon’s Drug Dealers

  • Ayo Awoyera: Pleaded guilty, sentenced to 5 years 6 months on September 12.
  • Dejuan Stewart-Richards: Found guilty at trial, jailed for 27 months on September 12.
  • Kenneth Brown: Pleaded guilty, sentenced to 5 years 6 months on October 14.

Cop Vows to Keep Hammering Drug Gangs

DC Jared Yalden from SOCU said: “We know the significant impact Class A drugs have on society, which is why we proactively target dealers in our communities. Besides health damage to users, the drugs spark violence and crime like shoplifting. We will keep going after the likes of Awoyera, Brown and Stewart-Richards to make Wiltshire safer for everyone.”
