Shazad A hmad Shabir, 38, a major figure in a multimillion-pound drug ring operating in Cambridgeshire, made a desperate last-ditch bid to evade justice just minutes before his trial at Cambridge Crown Court.
In a shocking move, Shabir crashed his car while driving the wrong way down a road, a ttempting to flee the courthouse. A lthough he was taken to hospital, no serious injuries were found, prompting suspicion over the stunt.
