Three British Men Accused of Horrific Gang Rape in Croatian Hotel
Three British men are facing shocking gang rape charges after allegedly attacking a woman in a hotel room in Split, Croatia. The alleged assault, which reportedly lasted two hours, took place in the early hours of July 22 last year.
Gruesome Details of the Attack Emerge
The suspects — Ami Arifi, 30, Gezhim Xhafa, 29, and Sohqib Shakibi, 25 — are accused of assaulting a 28-year-old woman at a well-known hotel. Prosecutors say the men first met the victim at Matejuska, a popular waterfront spot, before taking her back to their hotel room around 5:30am.
Victim’s Harrowing Account
Arifi is charged with insulting the victim, biting her lips, and inappropriately touching her. He allegedly took her phone away several times and pressured her into having sex with Xhafa. The victim told police she felt too frightened to say no, fearing the men would become even more violent.
