A man armed with a knife stormed into Tesco Express in Goring Way at around 7.50am on Saturday, 21 October. He threatened staff and demanded cash from the till in a terrifying robbery.
Two More Attempted Robberies in Salvington Over the Weekend
The chaos didn’t end there. On Sunday, 22 October, two more attempted robberies were reported at The Welcome Store in Half Moon Lane and Salvington Food Centre on Salvington Road, Worthing.
Suspect Nabbed and Charged
Alfie Reedman, 20, from Westergate Close, Ferring, has been charged with robbery and two counts of attempted robbery. He was remanded in custody and is set to appear in court on Tuesday, 21 November 2023.
