Shock Death in Wigan Town Centre Car Park
Tragedy struck Wigan last Thursday when a 38-year-old man was found dead in the Grand Arcade car park. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 2pm on September 25 after reports of a seriously injured man.
Police Investigate, No Suspect Yet
Despite efforts to save him, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say they do not suspect foul play but have launched a full investigation to piece together what happened.
Family Supported as Police Seek Witnesses
The man’s family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. Detective Inspector Janet Malone said,
“This is a tragic incident which has seen a man lose his life. Our thoughts remain with his family and friends. While we do not believe anyone else was involved, we are working to establish a timeline to provide his loved ones with the answers they deserve.”
