Barn Blaze in Hoo: Firefighters Damp Down After Massive Fire

Two fire engines are still at the scene of a barn fire on Main Road, Hoo. The flames have been brought under control, but crews remain busy dampening down hot spots after being called out Saturday evening.

Smoke Sends Local Residents Scrambling

While firefighters battled the blaze, locals were warned to keep windows and doors shut due to thick smoke drifting through the area. Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed four fire engines and a bulk water carrier to tackle the fire.

No Injuries, Cause Unknown

Thankfully, no casualties have been reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
