Yobs Smash Planters in Leigh Town Centre Chaos

Police in Leigh are fuming after vandals trashed several town centre planters in the early hours of Sunday, April 27. Officers on patrol spotted the damage, with debris strewn across the area, condemning the act as “extremely disappointing.”

Greater Manchester Police Step Up Patrols

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have ramped up patrols to tackle anti-social behaviour and reassure local residents. They’re also reviewing CCTV footage to hunt down the culprits behind the destruction.

“These planters were there to enhance the environment for everyone who visits Leigh. We will be working hard to find those responsible and take appropriate action,” a GMP spokesperson said.
