Man Fights for Life After Brutal Essex Road Stabbing
A 25-year-old man is clinging to life after a savage stabbing during a botched robbery on Essex Road, Islington, last night.
Violent Attack Shakes Essex Road
The victim was found with serious stab wounds around 7pm on Wednesday, January 27. Emergency crews rushed to the scene following reports of a robbery where the assailants stole his phone and bike.
He received urgent treatment at the scene before being rushed to a major trauma centre. The man remains in critical condition.
Police Launch Fierce Hunt, No Arrests Yet
The Metropolitan Police confirmed no suspects are in custody. Detectives are working around the clock to track down the attackers and have urged anyone with info to step forward immediately.
“Police are investigating after a man was stabbed at around 7pm on Wednesday in Essex Road, Islington,” a spokesman said. “His injuries are potentially life threatening or life-changing. No arrests have been made at this stage.”

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.01pm about a stabbing on Essex Road. An ambulance crew, paramedic fast response car, incident response officer, and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance attended. The patient was treated at the scene and transferred to a major trauma centre.”
