A hit-and-run driver has sparked a police manhunt after leaving a cyclist badly hurt near Highworth.
Cyclist Suffers Major Injuries After Hit-and-Run
Just after 9.30am on 6 December, a man in his 50s was knocked off his bike between Watchfield and Highworth. The driver didn’t stop and fled the scene, leaving the cyclist with fractures to his neck and back.
Thankfully, the injuries aren’t life-threatening, but they’re severe enough to change the victim’s life forever.
Police Launch Urgent Hunt for White Toyota Aygo
Wiltshire Police are hunting a white car, believed to be a Toyota Aygo, spotted near the crash site. Detectives say the driver could hold key information to crack the case.
Officers are urging anyone with dashcam footage or who saw the collision to come forward now.
