Tragic Crash in Hythe: Elderly Woman Killed by Bus
Police are urgently hunting witnesses after a fatal collision in Hythe left a woman in her 80s dead. The horrific incident happened just before 3pm on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, on Prospect Road.
Bus Strikes Woman, She Dies Days Later
Kent Police revealed a bus travelling east between Sun Lane and Douglas Avenue hit the elderly pedestrian. Paramedics airlifted her to a London hospital, but sadly she died on Wednesday, 15 October.
Police Appeal: Who Was on the Bus?
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are digging deeper. They want to speak to anyone with info, especially bus passengers who left the vehicle before officers arrived.
