Police were called to the junction of Overton Road and Harrow Manorway in SE2 on Tuesday afternoon following reports of a stabbing. The incident occurred at approximately 2pm, prompting a swift response from officers and the London Ambulance Service.

A man in his 30s sustained stab injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Although his condition is currently not believed to be life-threatening, it is deemed potentially life-changing. Medical professionals are closely monitoring his progress.

Police and Dog handlers conducted a thorough search of the surrounding area but did not locate any potential suspects. An investigation has been launched, and further inquiries are underway to gather more information about the incident.

A crime scene remains in place at the BP Garage in Abbey Wood.

The police are appealing to any witnesses who may have been present at the time of the incident to come forward with any relevant details.
