Halifax Woman’s Breast Uplift Horror in Turkey
A 22-year-old from Halifax is facing a nightmare after a botched breast uplift in Turkey. Chloe Rose paid £2,800 for the surgery, hoping to boost her confidence. Instead, she woke up screaming in pain, her body rejecting the operation gone wrong.
Botched Surgery Leaves Chloe With Necrotic Nipples
Chloe’s friends, who accompanied her to Istanbul, say surgeons removed too much skin, cutting off circulation and causing nipple necrosis – tissue death. “She hated her boobs and wanted to feel better,” said friend Rachel Mucha. “The doctors said all was fine… but Chloe knew something was terribly wrong.”
Despite Chloe’s agony, hospital staff insisted she was okay. Financial troubles forced Chloe and friends to leave, unsure if she could return to the UK for urgent treatment.
Family’s Desperate Appeal: Bring Chloe Home
Graphic photos show Chloe’s breast tissue turning black. Her family and friends launched a GoFundMe, aiming for £15,000 to fund an air ambulance. Sister Collette Pickering blasted the hospital: “Doctors never admitted fault. I watched them undo stitches with a blade, no pain relief, and left her with open wounds for 48 hours.”
Medical Tourism Risks: When Cheap Surgery Goes Wrong
The surgery was booked through a company boasting “five-star Instagram reviews.” Turkey is a hotspot for UK medical tourists, with 1,087,000 patients visiting in 2019 and pumping £8 billion into the Turkish economy. But as Chloe’s case shows, the gamble can turn grim.
Halifax MP Holly Lynch is now involved, contacting the Foreign Office for help. “I will continue to support Chloe and her family,” she said.
