A young motorcyclist in his 20s has tragically lost his life in a crash on the A26 Tonbridge Road at Wateringbury, near Maidstone. The victim has been identified as Ellis Overy from Tonbridge.
Ellis Overy collided with a stationary blue Skoda Fabia just after 12:39am on Sunday, 10 June. The black Honda motorcycle he was riding struck the stationary car on the A26 in Wateringbury.
Emergency services, including Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, responded promptly to the scene. Despite their efforts, Ellis was sadly declared dead at the site of the collision.
Kent Police have launched an appeal for witnesses to come forward. They are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a white estate car, possibly an Audi or Skoda, seen on Tonbridge Road around the time of the crash.
