A shocking hit-and-run incident occurred late Wednesday night on Plumstead Road, Woolwich. A motorbike rider struck a woman who was crossing the street, causing her to be thrown into the air and sustaining serious injuries.
The rider did not stop after hitting the woman. Instead, they sped away from the scene without showing any concern for the victim. The situation escalated when the motorbike then collided with the rear of a No.1 bus, adding to the chaos on the road.
Emergency services quickly arrived and transported the injured woman to hospital. Medical staff are currently working to assess and treat her critical condition.
