Hampshire Police and volunteers from WightSAR have launched a massive search this morning for Rosie Johnson, a woman missing from Little Canada PGL Adventure in Wootton, Isle of Wight.
Rosie Johnson, originally from Glasgow, has not been seen since the evening of Sunday, 23 June. She has now been missing for 48 hours, with no phone or cash in her possession, causing great concern among rescuers.
Rosie is described as having mousey brown hair and a slim build. She was last seen wearing a dark blue puffa jacket and trousers.
Local residents have been alerted and shown photos of Rosie to assist with the search efforts. The National Police Air Service helicopter is currently conducting aerial sweeps over the woodland area between Fishbourne and Wootton.
Additional support is being provided by Ryde Rescue and two Island Coastguard teams based at Needles and Bembridge.
