An urgent search is underway for a missing runner named David in Surrey. He was last seen leaving his home in Gomshall at around 10:30am on 18 April before heading out for his regular morning run.

David’s familiar running route takes him from Gomshall up to the North Downs Ridge, across to Newlands Corner, then down through Albury and Shere, before looping back to his home.

At the time he went missing, David was believed to be wearing black shorts with a red stripe, a two-toned long-sleeve top in blue and light grey, and black trainers. He may also have been carrying an MP3 player.

Surrey Police have issued an appeal expressing serious concern for David’s welfare. They are asking anyone who has seen him or has any information to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference 703:18/04.
