Parked cars in the quiet streets of Hawkhurst, near Cranbrook, were damaged during a brazen night of tyre slashing and vandalism. Police are actively investigating after multiple vehicles were deliberately targeted in a shocking overnight incident.
The crime spree occurred between the night of Tuesday, October 14, and early Wednesday, October 15, 2025. At least six cars located on Norris Close, Ockley Road, and Heartenoak Road suffered slashed tyres and broken wing mirrors in what appears to be a deliberate act by vandals.
Kent Police have been canvassing the area, going door-to-door to ask residents for any home security or doorbell camera footage that may show suspicious activity between 10pm and 6am. Officers are working to gather evidence to identify and apprehend those responsible for disrupting this peaceful community.
