Two people were rushed to hospital after a four-car collision on the M25 anticlockwise near junction 2 on Monday morning.
Kent Police received the emergency call at 9:39 AM reporting the multi-vehicle crash. Officers and paramedics quickly responded to the scene to assist the injured.
Both victims were treated at the scene and then taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
To clear the wreckage, lanes one and two on the M25 were temporarily closed while recovery teams worked. These lanes have since reopened and traffic is now flowing normally.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 9:39 AM today to a collision involving four cars on the anticlockwise carriageway of the M25 near junction 2. Two people were taken to hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. Lanes one and two were closed for vehicle recovery but have now reopened.”
Motorists are advised to drive carefully and allow extra travel time as traffic returns to normal following the disruption.
