A three-vehicle collision on the A2 coastbound near Dartford caused major traffic disruptions at around 3:27pm. The crash occurred between the M25 junction and Bean junction, resulting in extensive tailbacks and slow-moving traffic for several miles.

Emergency services including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB), and Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) quickly arrived at the scene. Fire crews assisted paramedics in treating one injured individual, though the condition of the person remains unknown.

The crash brought the A2 coastbound to a complete standstill, with delays extending back to M25 Junction 2. Although all lanes have now reopened, long residual delays continue to affect motorists.

Kent Police confirmed that officers attended the collision involving three vehicles on the A2 coastbound at Dartford. One person has reported injuries. “One lane is open,” a Kent Police spokesperson stated.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time or consider alternative routes while traffic clears.
