Early Sunday morning, a suspicious fire broke out in Maidstone, destroying two tanker vehicles. The incident prompted a full-scale emergency response as three fire engines rushed to the scene.
Fire crews equipped with breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using main jets and compressed air foam systems (CAFs) to bring the fire under control.
The South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) was present at the scene to conduct precautionary checks on nearby individuals. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
Kent Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, which they have declared suspicious. Authorities are urging anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to come forward immediately.
