Suspects flee after car bursts into flames on A2070 in Hamstreet following police chase

Suspects fled after a police chase ended in a car crashing into a tree and bursting into flames. The incident happened on the A2070 in Hamstreet, shortly after 5.30pm yesterday (February 19).

Officers began pursuing a vehicle in Violet Way, Ashford, after suspecting it was using cloned number plates, before following it onto the A2070.
