Police in Stoke-on-Trent have launched an urgent appeal following a disturbing incident in which a lorry driver allegedly exposed himself to two young girls near a local school.
The event took place shortly after 8am on March 18 on Weston Road, in the Weston Coyney area, as the girls were on their way to school.
Staffordshire Police reported that the suspect was driving a white lorry displaying a distinctive black and orange logo at the time of the incident.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said, “We received a report at 10.05am today (March 18) involving a man exposing himself to two young girls on Weston Road in Weston Coyney. It happened just after 8am. The man was in a white lorry with a black and orange logo at the time.”
The local community has expressed concern over the incident and is calling for increased police patrols near school routes to ensure children’s safety.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the offence to come forward and assist with the investigation.
