Shoppers at Tesco in Havant got more than they bargained for this morning (12 July) when a sewage pipe burst, showering customers and trolleys with raw waste.

Social media erupted with angry customers blasting Tesco’s lack of maintenance. One shopper, Natalie Corner, slammed: “Please do consider getting the pipes properly fixed and deep cleaning your store and the trolleys. It was this morning before 10am!! My car was in the bay opposite the leak! And getting back to the car was disgusting.”

The shocking sewage spill has many wondering if Tesco Havant is still a safe place to shop.
