Two men struck up a conversation with a man and woman on a platform at Lincoln station before boarding the 9.30pm service to Harborough on Friday 22 April.
As the train journey began, tempers flared. One of the men landed a punch to the man’s neck. When the victims tried to get away, the other man sexually assaulted the woman.
British Transport Police are urging anyone who recognises the suspects or has any information to come forward. You can text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 302 of 23/04/22.
