Emergency services responded to a serious incident on Bullockstone Road near Greenhill in Herne Bay early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred just before 7am, resulting in a full road closure in both directions.

A specialist HART paramedic team from South East Coast Ambulance joined Kent Police officers at the scene. The operation is ongoing as authorities work to manage the situation.

Kent Police confirmed that officers were called at 6.35am on Tuesday 24 August due to concerns for a man. The incident has also caused the closure of the A299 Thanet Way between the Clapham Hill junction in Whitstable and the A291 junction in Herne Bay.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes to reduce traffic disruption.
