Chaos unfolded on the roads this Monday morning following a serious crash involving a black BMW X5 and a red Peugeot. The collision occurred on the A128 Brentwood Road at the B188 junction in Orsett, shortly after 4am.
The incident has resulted in the closure of the A128 Brentwood Road, with authorities expecting the road to remain shut until around midday. Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes to prevent significant delays.
Essex Police are actively searching for the driver of a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) who may have stopped briefly after the crash. Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this driver or observed the black BMW X5 behaving erratically prior to the collision.
