Devon & Cornwall Police have launched an urgent appeal following the theft of a Honda TRX420 quad bike owned by the RNLI from the Sydney Cove car park at Praa Sands, Cornwall.

The theft occurred overnight between Wednesday, 6 May and Thursday, 7 May. Officers are seeking any information that could assist with their ongoing investigation.

The stolen quad bike, registration WK72 RRX, features RNLI charity branding and distinctive modifications. Police note there may be some signs of tampering on the vehicle.

Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the quad bike being loaded onto a trailer or van in the area, or who has seen the vehicle since the incident, to come forward.

Police are appealing to the public for any dashcam footage or other information related to the theft or the current whereabouts of the quad bike. They stress the importance of community support in recovering this vital rescue asset.
